African American Women at Higher Risk of Uterine Fibroids
Studies show that African American women are up to three times more likely to develop uterine non-cancerous fibroid tumors. And Black women often have numerous fibroids which can interfere with daily bowel and urinary function. But there are treatments that can help reduce the fibroids’ size and help women live a higher quality of life.
